Artist Statement
My favourite design solutions are lively, colorful, playful, and modern.
Graphic images excite me. As a kid I fell in love with Pop Art, animation, typography and design magazines. After fine art training in studio and art history, I'm now a Toronto- based designer, Illustrator and cartoonist with a contemporary outlook and an understanding of art and design history. I've designed books, comics, illustrated for children's books, newspapers, magazines and brochures. I work in traditional and digital media, pen and ink and photoshop.

budget for a image, so I
created a design in

The client was so happy with it,
we used the same design for
several years, updating only
the colors and the year.")
 "Book Cover- Celebrate Life :. This book cover had a small budget. The author provided an image of herself in her garden with these morning glories. I extracted just the flower for a simple image and lively type treatment for this book about making your life the best it can be.")
 "Ride the Wave :. Design and Art Direction. This is a finance book using a full color photo of the celebrity author Sherry Cooper, and we added a bronze spot ink on the text and banner to add a rich note.")
 "Book Cover- Ken Kostic :. Cover - Art Direction and Photo Illustration: The cover image is a photo montage created in photoshop. We shot a picture of the author holding a frying pan and I created the image of the food flying out of the pan using various food images.")
