Artist Statement
Transformers, G.I. Joe, Wolverine, Batman, Spider-man... These are the things that influenced me on a life-long journey of drawing. As a child I drew many a Optimus Prime on placemats in family restaurants, well, mainly Newport Creamery. It was there and in the margins of my school notebooks that I learned to draw. Later on I would enroll in the Rhode Island School of Design and major in Illustration. Soon after, I realized that with focus and drive anything is possible, like drinking a whole pot of coffee and four red bulls to finish a comic that will take fourteen straight hours. I recently recieved my BFA from RISD in and am now just begining to get my feet wet on my life-long journey of becoming an illustrator. I have done book covers for Night Shade Books, character illustrations for Privateer Press and Fantasy Flight Games, and BBT Magazine.
