Artist Statement

I have been working as a freelance artist/designer for 15 years, and as an art educator for 9 years, teaching Graphic Design and visual arts and design classes. My specialty is in Graphic Design and Illustration and I have a wide range of styles from hand-drawn/simple to sophisticated digital/contemporary. My career in the past several years has been more focused upon teaching graphic design to high school students, while concurrently engaging in freelance projects and exhibitions of my personal artwork (mixed media painting). My focus is now changing to include more freelance art and design work, and I look forward to working with professionals who are seeking a sophisticated, experienced artist to help with their design and visual communication needs.
