Artist Statement
If you're looking for a whiny, espresso-gulping, force-themselves-upon you graphic "artiste" who will lecture you about their "vision" for YOUR company, go someplace else. Really. I love coffee, yes - but I detest over-indulgent designers who don't put the client first. I understand that a good designer - for web, logos, products, etc. - puts the needs of the clients ahead of their own. A GREAT designer is able to add their own personal touch without sacrificing the integrity of the client's needs.
If you're looking for a designer who will be your partner in a project and deliver quality work, I can help you. I don't do Flash, I don't program websites and I don't illustrate (much). I'm a designer and I'm proud to be one.

 "Milwaukee Bucks uniform :. When the Milwaukee Bucks were looking for an alternate road uniform, the solution came in the folder of discarded ideas from the redesign of their logo in 1993. I found a logo that had been sketched out by Dick Sakahara but never used. I tweaked it a bit, added some color to match the Bucks identity and came up with one of the most popular uniform designs in NBA history to that point.")
 "I Love This Game! Logo :. Created in 1994 for the NBA, this logo was supposed to have a lifespan of about 6 months - 1 year. However it proved to be so popular, it stuck around for about three years. Eventually, it was brought back after the lockout in 1999 as a modified version that read")
 "Retail Catalogs :. For 15 years, I've been creating printed materials for a good friend of mine who runs a highly successful pool store. They've always had a low budget, but over the years I've managed to up the level of the design in small stages while keeping the costs low. I provide this as an example of how good design doesn't need to cost you a huge chunk of your promotional budget.")
 "DVD Menu Design :. This DVD menu was created for the NBA. The image was created in Photoshop and sent to the DVD production house for programming.")
 "Retail Concepts :. For several years, I was the go-to person for creating retail concepts that the NBA wanted to develop. Concepting for stores in Korea, Europe and NYC was great, but the biggest thrill was actually seeing the finished installations in stores such as Toys 'R Us in times Square and the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue.")
