Artist Statement

Luke Gasbarro is a digital media artist and producer.

He has consulted on various projects with local Boston artists, filmmakers, and institutions. Luke currently works as Producer for Handcranked Productions and Global Mechanic, two Boston and Vancouver, BC-based animation production houses.

Born and raised in the Boston area, Luke received his BFA in Film/Animation/Video from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). His short film, Gestate, has shown at festivals throughout the US, most recently at the Five Town Massive Arts and Media Festival in Bristol, Vermont.
